John Deere 7800 tractor is a powerful piece of machinery that JD produced
during the nineties in their Waterloo plant in Iowa. The JD 7800's production
lasted for 4 years from ’92 until it was replaced with the John
Deere 7810 in ’96. The 7800 is powered by a robust diesel, turbocharged,
6 cylinder engine. It’s a quite big with a displacement of 7.6 liters
and requires 26 liters of coolant for it’s liquid cooling system.
This produces 147 hp which is transmitted to a choice of chassis to move
the tractor; either a 4×2 2WD chassis or optionally a 4×4
MFWD 4WD chassis.
